Your menu is the list of links customers see in your header (at the top) and footer (at the bottom). A good menu helps customers find what they're looking for quickly.
Two menus, two places
Go to Dashboard → Menu. You'll see two separate menus:
- Header menu — visible at the top of every page. Keep this short — usually 4 to 7 items.
- Footer menu — visible at the bottom of every page. Good place for "About", "Contact", "Shipping policy", "Privacy policy".
Each menu has its own on/off toggle, so you can hide one without losing the items inside.
Adding menu items
Tap Add item in either menu. You can add four kinds of links:
- Category — links to one of your product categories (e.g. "Shoes")
- Page — links to a custom page you've created (e.g. "About us")
- Blog — links to your blog index
- Custom link — any URL you want, including external sites
For Category and Page items, a searchable picker helps you find the right one quickly.
Reordering menu items
Drag the handle next to any item to change the order. The order in this list is exactly the order customers see.
Mega menu — sub-categories under a category
When you add a category to the header menu, customers can see its sub-categories automatically when they hover or tap the category. This is called a mega menu and it's on by default.
If you don't want sub-categories shown for a particular category, toggle the Show sub-categories switch off on that menu item.
Editing or removing items
Tap the gear icon on any item to edit its label or change its target. Tap the bin icon to remove it from the menu (this doesn't delete the underlying category or page — just the menu link).
Saving
Tap Save at the top of the page. Your menu updates on your shop immediately.
