Handling refunds and cancellations

What to do when a customer wants to cancel or return an order.

Sometimes orders need to be cancelled or refunded. Here's how to handle it.

Cancelling an order

Open the order and change the status to Cancelled. The customer will be notified automatically.

Processing a refund

Refunds are handled through your payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, or M-Pesa). Log into your payment dashboard and issue the refund from there.

After refunding, update the order status so your records stay accurate.

Setting a return policy

We recommend adding your return policy to your shop description so customers know what to expect before buying.
