TikTok Shop lets creators tag your products in videos and lives. Setting up your shop on TikTok uses the same product feed we generate for Google and Meta.
Before you start
- A custom domain connected to your shop
- A TikTok Shop seller account at seller.tiktok.com
- TikTok Shop must be available in your country (it's rolling out gradually)
Step 1 — Get your product feed URL
Same URL you use for Google Merchant Center. Go to Dashboard → Shop → Search Engines → Product catalog feed and copy it.
Step 2 — Sign up for TikTok Shop seller
Go to seller.tiktok.com and follow the registration wizard. You'll need:
- A business name and registration documents (depending on your country)
- Bank account for payouts
- Your TikTok account linked
Approval usually takes 1–3 business days.
Step 3 — Import your catalog
Once approved, log in to TikTok Seller Center:
- Go to Products → Manage Products
- Click Add product → Import via data feed
- Paste your merchant feed URL
- Set the schedule to fetch daily
- Save
Step 4 — Wait for review
TikTok reviews each product before it goes live in TikTok Shop. This usually takes a few days the first time. You'll see status updates in Seller Center.
Common requirements
- Product images must show the actual product clearly on a plain background
- Titles and descriptions must be in the local language of the market you're selling in
- Some categories (alcohol, restricted items) aren't allowed on TikTok Shop
- Stock levels must be accurate — TikTok suspends sellers with frequent "out of stock" issues
Why use TikTok Shop?
TikTok's algorithm is incredibly powerful for product discovery — a single video can drive thousands of sales overnight. Even if you don't make videos yourself, creators can tag your products in their content (you can offer them affiliate commissions through TikTok Shop's affiliate program).
Note on availability
TikTok Shop is launching country by country. If it's not available where you sell yet, keep an eye on TikTok's announcements — your product feed will be ready whenever it launches.
