Customers can buy from your shop without ever creating an account — checkout works as a guest. But customers who create an account get extras: order history, saved details, and easier reordering.
What an account gives the customer
- Order history — every order they've placed in one place
- Saved details — name, email, phone — autofilled at next checkout
- Order tracking — without typing the order number
- Leaving reviews — directly from past orders (see How customers leave reviews)
How customers create an account
From your shop, customers tap the account icon in the top corner (or the "Account" link in the menu) and choose Sign up. They enter:
- Name
- Phone (optional but recommended)
- Password
That's it — they're in.
How customers log in
Returning customers tap the account icon and enter their email and password. If they've forgotten their password, they tap Forgot password and we email them a reset link.
What customers can do once logged in
From their account page they can:
- See all their orders, with status (Pending / Completed / Cancelled / Refunded), date, items, and totals
- View an order's full details — items with images, quantities, options, total paid
- Update their name, email, or phone
- Log out
Accounts are per-shop
An account is tied to your specific shop. If a customer also buys from another shop on our platform, they'll need a separate account there. This keeps each shop's customer base private — no cross-shop tracking.
Customers don't have to register
Even with accounts available, anyone can still buy as a guest. They just enter their email at checkout and order normally. They can later look up their order via your order tracking page using the order number and email.
Why encourage customers to register
- Repeat purchases. Logged-in customers buy more often because checkout is faster — their details are pre-filled.
- Direct contact. Registered customers show up in your customer list with email and phone, ready for follow-ups.
- Reviews. Logged-in customers can review past purchases without re-typing details.
Account security
- Passwords are stored securely (hashed) — even we can't read them. If a customer forgets, they have to reset, not retrieve.
- If a customer is logged in on a public computer, they should always log out when done.
- If you suspect an account has been compromised, advise the customer to change their password immediately.
