Reviews come from real customers who've bought from you. They help future buyers feel confident — and good reviews can be the deciding factor when someone is on the fence. Here's how the review flow works on the buyer's side.
Where customers can review
Customers can leave a review in two places:
- From their order history — when logged into their account on your shop, they tap an order and see a "Leave a review" link next to each product they ordered.
- From a product page — if they've previously bought the product, they'll see a review form near the bottom of that product's page.
Customers can only review products they've actually purchased. We check this automatically.
What customers fill in
- Star rating — 1 to 5 stars (required)
- Title — a short headline (optional)
- Comment — what they thought
Reviews don't appear immediately
To prevent spam and abuse, every review goes to a moderation queue first. You — the seller — decide whether to approve it, mark it as spam, or delete it. See Approving and moderating reviews.
Asking for reviews
Most customers won't leave a review unless gently reminded. Common ways to ask:
- Send a follow-up message a week after delivery: "Hope you're enjoying [product]! If you have a moment, a review would mean a lot."
- Include a small "Thank you" card in your packaging with a request to review.
- Tap the WhatsApp button on a customer's details page (Dashboard → Customers) for a quick personal message.
Why reviews matter
- Products with reviews convert significantly better than ones without.
- Honest reviews — including the occasional 3- or 4-star — feel more trustworthy than perfect 5-star streaks.
- Approved reviews show on your product pages and contribute to your shop's overall star rating.
